The kids were kept busy with the thoughtful amenities, while we relaxed in the hot tub and took in the peaceful scenery. Having morning coffee with those views over the hills and mountains of Maramures made the rest of the world fade away. The house is a real tribute to Romanian tradition and secular architecture, with flawless attention to detail. Everything was spot on at this gorgeous place, and it was the best stay we’ve had in a long time while traveling around Romania. We’ll be back, and I’d happily recommend it.

For a rural break in the heart of maramures, this place has rustic charm and all the comforts of home. We could take in the rolling hills and mountains from all kinds of spots, from the benches around the terrace and the ratan sofas by the huge hottub to the dining area under the pergola and even the windows inside. Everything was faultless, from the immaculate attention to detail to how spotlessly clean the accommodation was. A wonderful stay in a magical location. We'll definitely return.

Watching sunsets from the porch, listening to nature, and just enjoying the calm made our stay feel like a fairy tale. My family from Florida was captivated by the cabin and the area, and it became an unforgettable part of our Maramureș trip. Our children, ages 5 and 6, loved the play area and spent hours running around in the grass. The meals Mrs. Mariana made from homemade organic ingredients were a highlight. Every dish was delicious, authentic, and carefully prepared. I think she deserves a Michelin star! The horse-and-carriage ride and farm visit were another big hit with the kids. They got to pet piglets and calves, eat fresh homemade bread, sample smoked pork, and try traditional pălincă. The cabin is also conveniently close to the Mocănița steam train station. Our hosts were warm, attentive, and ready to help. Their detailed guide to local activities and attractions made the visit easier and more enjoyable. This place offers an authentic Maramureș experience, and we’ll most certainly return. The cabin is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. This authentic 100-year-old wooden home has been lovingly restored and brought up to date with top-of-the-line amenities, while keeping its historic character. The traditional decorations and care in every detail reminded me of visiting my grandparents' home as a child. You can feel how much love and passion the owners put into making it special.

Its rustic-modern decor was tasteful, and the terrace made a nice spot for morning coffee or quiet evenings with family and friends. Surrounded by greenery and fresh air and away from the city's bustle, it was a calm, intimate place to relax and recharge. I had a wonderful stay and can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for peace, nature, and comfort.
