We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely visit. The place was cozy, clean, tidy, and equipped well for a short stay. What stood out most was how quiet it was, so I’d recommend it especially if peace matters to you. The old city center is around a 10-minute walk away. Paid parking is available and easy to reach, though spaces may be limited at certain times.

The Silver apartment had everything we needed to feel at home, and then some. It was roomy, clean, and nicely decorated. The host was polite, helpful, and kind, and the complimentary prosecco, coffee, and chocolates were a lovely extra that you don’t often get in a rental apartment. We’ll come back if we’re in Sibiu again.

We got what the booking.com listing described, and the apartment was genuinely livable. The host was patient and kind, kept messages unobtrusive, and replied quickly in emergencies. When the bedroom smoke detector went off while we were cooking, he checked that we were okay. There’s a notebook for guest suggestions and signatures, with entries dated 2019 through 2023, and the comments I saw were very positive. The location worked well for us: the apartment is in the city center, and the historic area is an easy walk, under five minutes for everything we needed. We barely had to cross any intersections and didn’t need a car. I didn’t find local food restaurants nearby, though there are places to eat in the historic center. The rooms were well equipped. The large bedroom has a big closet, AC, and nightstands. In the kitchen there’s a stove, gas burner, plenty of cabinets, a large fridge, washing machine, drying rack, couch, and night lamp. There’s no separate shower in the bathroom, but the hot tub has a shower head, and there were lots of towels and candles for a relaxing soak. The strong doors and ability to lock several rooms from inside made me feel safe. Even with a shared yard, we valued the privacy. I never saw the cleaning staff, and they didn’t come in during our private time. One small hassle: the washing machine had detergent only for white clothes, so we bought some multicolor samples from Kaufland.

The apartment is modern and equipped to a high standard, better than nearby hotels. Check-in was easy, and the host was welcoming and helpful. The location is great for getting to the city center. I’ll definitely be back.
