The Red Mountain and Seven Ladders trails, along with the village centre, are within walking distance. It’s a peaceful spot with flowers on the porch and plenty of secure private parking. My room was in a converted barn, with its own separate bathroom. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the decor gave it a romantic, medieval-inn feel. The bathroom was small but clean and practical. A good affordable choice for hikers.

The host was wonderful and clearly loves cooking. The food had a traditional taste, and working with them was a pleasure.
