You can use the kitchen and dining room until 9pm, and for a small deposit you can use the hob and other kitchen facilities, though not the oven. Breakfast is included and had a good selection. My room had a small fridge and TV, and the owner cleans every day. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The owner speaks a little English. There’s also a barbecue area, but I didn’t use it.

After our mountain tours, Katalin Guesthouse was a lovely place to rest. The rooms were clean and well appointed, and the kitchen had all the utensils and was very clean. We also really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and in the yard. Our welcoming, thoughtful host kept everything well organized, and the price and service were excellent. Thank you.

The dishes weren’t clean, despite the hostess saying they disinfect them. The beds had no sheets, only a cover over the mattress, and one of the rooms didn’t have a refrigerator. The grill area had no utensils and no nearby sink. Although the host let us use the kitchen, he shut it at 8 pm, after waiting for us at the gate to take payment, apparently worried we might leave without paying. He then gave us rules that made no sense. The reviews below aren’t true. In conclusion: score 5.
