Vila Trapez

We attended a party event at the end of February 2023. The snowy mountains looked lovely in the distance, and the food served was good quality. It feels cozy and intimate, especially for a small gathering. The hotel is a little tucked away from the access road, though you can see it from farther off. There’s room for about 10 cars on site, plus a public parking area nearby on the main road.

We keep choosing this place when we visit Brasov. The owners and staff are lovely, and breakfast is really good. It’s a peaceful spot outside the city center, with only some dogs barking and trains passing in the background, which didn’t bother us. The pension itself is cozy and very clean, with large rooms and a wonderful mountain view from the balcony.

We had an emergency and called at 3:00am, and luckily they had a room free. The receptionist was understanding and so kind, making us feel at home. I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels and guest houses around Romania, and the service here ranks among the best I’ve experienced. Everyone was welcoming and cheerful. The rooms were freshly renovated and very clean, and the minibar had a great selection at reasonable prices. This is now my first choice for hiking around Predeal/Brasov, and I can’t wait to return. The Booking photos are genuine, and the place lives up to them. There’s a pleasant terrace for relaxing, a green area and a nice backyard with parking. The location has a great view of Bucegi Mountains, and the hosts were wonderful. Everything was very clean. For me, it’s one of the best options in Brasov, with standards you’d expect from a hotel. Highly recommended.
