Casa Crina

We spent five nights at this gorgeous villa for a New Year family reunion, and there was nothing to complain about. The host was so helpful, and the house looks even better in person than it does in the photos. It’s cozy and clean, with four bedrooms that each have their own bathroom. Sibiu, one of Romania’s most stunning cities, is not far away. We’d love to stay here again if we return to this beautiful country.

The upstairs bedrooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom, and the big living room was great for board games. The house even has games there already, in case you forget yours. We spent lots of time at the outdoor table, helped by the friendly weather, and the small yard was just big enough for a water balloon fight. Wood throughout the house gives it a warm feel, while the traditional carpets and decorations make it feel like a storybook setting. The villa is in Vale, about 3-4 km from the A1 highway at the Saliste interchange. We’ll definitely be back, Crina! :)

The garden was a highlight, with tree shade for much of the day and another spot that stayed sunny. I loved the views and access to the hills, which looked great for off-road biking. The house has a lovely rural feel, while using high-quality materials and fittings throughout. The service was excellent, and they can provide extras like home-cooked food, which we thought was delicious.

Werner was really friendly and helpful. He showed us around, suggested some good hiking trails, and was flexible about check-in and checkout. Casa Crina is a beautifully restored old house in Vale, with cozy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The big yard is lovely for grilling or just relaxing outside, and the kitchen had everything we needed, plus plenty of spices. The village sits at the foot of the Cindrel mountains, with some very nice hikes nearby. Thanks, Werner, we had a great stay.
