The gardens were lovely to wander through before we left, and breakfast in the morning had plenty of fresh, tasty choices. We slept really well in the comfortable bed. Earlier, we’d enjoyed a spacious room with a beautiful city view, plus dinner at the restaurant with candlelight and live music. The bar was a nice place to settle in with a cocktail, too. The staff made a real effort to make the night special. They left champagne and chocolates in our room, and greeted us warmly when we arrived with a glass of champagne. Hotel Astoria’s luxurious decor and attention to detail made us feel like royalty. We had a wonderful stay in Romania.

Astoria Pool Park is nearby, with swimming and slides, and it closes at 10Pm, so you can get some rest without anyone disturbing you. The personnel were kind and welcoming. They handed us the room key and showed us where to go, and the room was clean, especially the restroom.

There’s a pleasant garden with water, a pool, and a good restaurant with a terrace. The place is clean and has a romantic feel. The staff are quick and okay. It’s near Alba Iulia, and there’s a gas oil station nearby.

The inner garden is lovely and well kept, and sitting on the terrace with morning coffee was nice. The reception is well organized, and the friendly staff were very helpful. Our room was clean and pretty spacious, though the bathroom fan was really noisy and only stopped when the light was off, since it had no separate switch. It’s a great place for weddings and other events. The one drawback is that the restaurant dance floor feels a little too small when lots of people are dancing.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good, nothing special but perfectly okay. The drinks were good too. It was a nice surprise considering the location, with an excellent-looking pool and events hall. If you’re hoping for a relaxing pool day, noise from the busy nearby road could be a bit of a letdown. Apart from that, all good.
