Hotel President

After confirming our request by message, they still ignored it and then said it was my fault for not booking it, until reception checked the messages. That's not how a business should handle things. We'd booked a room with a crib and even messaged specifically to ask about it. After a long drive, we were told it wasn't available because someone else had taken it. The room was tiny, and they said they could bring in a regular extra bed instead. The receptionist seemed annoyed that I was upset after driving six hours and not getting what we'd explicitly requested, saying it wasn't her fault and asking what could be done. We were there for 15 minutes, then had to start looking for somewhere else. Apparently even that was hard for her to deal with. I don't recommend this place.

The prices are low for what's included: clean rooms and bathrooms, towels, and hygiene products. The place is quiet, clean, and has a nice atmosphere, with very friendly staff. Heating is on throughout the winter. There's no restaurant open for supper, but the bar is.

It's clean, but I wouldn't recommend it. The two women at reception couldn't speak any language other than Romanian, which I don't speak. Breakfast was quite poor, and the location feels like you're sitting in the middle of a busy road. It was too noisy to open the windows.

A small, cozy hotel that's easy to use, and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast included a good homemade omelette. For the price, it's a good choice and the location works well, with taxis and a supermarket close by.
