10/10
The staff, who are locals, were friendly and nice. The place has a pool, a restaurant, rooms and a wedding venue. It was built ages ago for Ceaușescu, the Romanian dictator. The look is meant to be luxurious, and in some ways it is.

The reception staff were helpful, though communication was limited for English speakers. The room felt too warm, and I could feel the springs through the somewhat uncomfortable bed. The food was just so-so and could be better. Some renovation work had left the entrance looking a bit run down.

The people treated their clients really well, always polite and smiling. And the food was AMAZING.

The pool wasn't very clean either. Inside the rooms there was a strange smell, and they weren't clean. The whole place seemed poorly maintained.

It's clean, but otherwise the place is just in ruins. Definitely not a 4-star hotel.
