Hotel Clasic

They let us leave our car there while we continued the hike and collect it when we finished. Even over Easter weekend, we got a warm welcome and comfortable adjoining rooms that worked perfectly for our family of four during our two nights walking the Via Transililvanica.

We only stayed one night at Hotel Classic while passing through, but it was a pleasant surprise. The room was comfortable, the service excellent, and the restaurant meals were delicious, breakfast included. We’d love to come back and stay longer.

There were loud people at a table below our window until late in the evening, and nobody on staff was around to handle it. The hotel seemed very understaffed, so calling reception in the evening about a problem wasn’t really an option. Our room was good for resting, but old-fashioned, and its AC didn’t work. The food was okay, though service took a long time. Later edit: reception is supposed to be staffed 24 hours.

We’ll definitely pick this restaurant again next time. The food was really tasty, and the staff treated us kindly. Andrei served us in a very pleasant way. It’s a great place to eat, either inside or outside. Thank you!
