The meal times were a problem for us: lunch ran from 13:30 to 15:30, and dinner started after 19:30, which felt too late. The rooms and food were both pretty ordinary, and the drinks came from a dispenser and tasted cheap. Even the included beer was one of the cheapest options, while everything else cost two to three times as much. The plumbing smelled back into the rooms, the toilet felt loose enough that you might fall if you leaned, and the towel rack seemed liable to come off if you grabbed a towel quickly. For the price, we could stay somewhere cheaper, eat at restaurants with more choice, and still have at least 200 lei left per person per day. It wasn't worth it, and we definitely won't return.

The hosts were really pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were clean and nice. There's a day bar beside a terrace with a couple of grills, plus hammocks under the trees and a few play structures for kids. The pool was nice and seemed well looked after. Restaurant food was OK. I don't care for fish much, so my 3.5-4 star take on it may just come down to taste.

We didn't stay, even though our visit was free, because we disliked the place so much. Everything felt old and costly, and the bar prices were high too. We had hoped to walk around and see the Danube, but walking was limited to the resort. For a boat trip, the only choices were the resort's own offers, just five of them and very expensive. The food looked really bad.

This is a beautiful place to stay if you're coming to see the Donaudelta. The food and rooms were good, and the boats for birdwatching were especially good. I'd recommend it to everyone.
