The rooms felt dated, and the beds were very low with uncomfortable mattresses, which took away from the overnight stay. We’d happily come back for dinner, but probably wouldn’t stay here again. The restaurant was a different story. The chef’s care showed in the presentation and well-balanced flavors, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The mature garden, with its flowers, plants, trees and conifers, made for a peaceful, charming setting that lifted the soul. We highly recommend eating here.

I never stayed overnight, but whenever I get the chance I stop at the restaurant for something to eat. Even when I’m just passing on the highway, I make time to pull in. It’s a nice spot for anyone looking to enjoy a holiday. Enjoy!

The music and atmosphere were nice, and the food was delicious. I haven’t stayed overnight. For future visits, it’d be good to see a few more vegan and vegetarian options.

We all really enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent. With the car park, lovely views and garden, it was a wonderful time for us.

The waitress was incredibly friendly and professional, and the food was unexpectedly good. We only stopped for dinner, but we’ll stop here again next time.
