Casu?a cu Stuf

The Delta tours were a real highlight, with short and longer options plus transfers to and from Mahmudia, all organized smoothly. The owners were also great about helping us choose places to eat and suggesting local things to do. We stayed four days at Cerdacul cu Stuf in Sfântu Gheorghe, and the clean, comfortable accommodation had everything we needed. It’s pet friendly too, which was a big plus for us. The village center is only a seven-minute walk away, but the place itself is quiet and relaxing. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the Danube Delta.

We had enough translators with us, so the boat captains speaking only Romanian didn’t cause any trouble. On both Delta trips, the number of bird species was definitely more than a Finn could keep track of. Our hosts arranged two trips and also provided transport from Mahmudia, which was handy. The rooms were clean and everything worked, including the water supply and drainage. It took us a little while to figure out the breakfast setup, but there were no issues. You make your own coffee and tea.

I only got to stay briefly, which was a shame, because the place was even better than I expected. The yard is green and lovely, the rooms are roomy and clean, and the service was top notch. The guest was very friendly and the location is great. Don’t miss breakfast, it’s absolutely delicious. Totally recommend.

A really nice complex. The rooms are small but clean, and there’s a kitchen guests can use, along with a little courtyard with seating and places to play. The walk to the beach isn’t far and it’s beautiful. Definitely recommend it.
