Hohe Rinne Paltinis Hotel + Spa

It's a very quiet spot with a lovely location, if that's what you're after. The hotel itself feels like a former communist-era place with only small renovations, so I'd give it no more than three stars. There are some sweet but sadly very thin dogs there, and they don't seem to be looked after. Please consider bringing them some food or leftovers. The rooms smell a little moldy, the breakfast is quite poor, and the coffee at the bar is disgusting, even though you have to pay for it. Don't expect much.

The best part is the view from the top floor, and there's a nice pool and play area too. But this used to be a four-star hotel and now feels like less than three. The rooms aren't very clean, and the restaurant menu is basic, with food that's not very good.

It looks nice from outside, but the furniture inside seems and smells old, and there's not much else going for it. There is an elevator, though the pool is small. It's a decent place to get away from everyday life, but pack everything you'll need because the hotel is far from any shop.

The guests were the worst part of my stay at Hotel Cindrel from January 24 to January 27. People ran around and shouted during the night, with no regard for other guests who'd paid the same price for a normal, quiet night. I paid to get some rest, and that was wasted. I'm disappointed the staff couldn't calm them down as they should have. The staff themselves were nice and helpful, and breakfast was okay, but the rooms need improvement and more attention to detail.
