The hotel and street were both so quiet and peaceful. I think we were the only guests on our first night. The interior has lovely attention to detail, and breakfast was very good. The one young lady looking after both reception and breakfast was friendly and professional. The location was great, about a five-minute walk to the main square, with free parking just around the corner. My room’s mattress was saggy and a bit uncomfortable to sleep on, though. Still, a very good experience.

At Maison Elysée, you feel royal as well as at home. The interior is ostentatious, but also charming and impressive. We stayed in the purple room. I didn’t see the others, but I’m sure it must be the most beautiful one. It was spacious, clean, and cozy, especially the bed. Thanks to the friendly staff, and for the lovely breakfast.

We’d booked parking, but there wasn’t any available. When we called, the girl told us to circle around and try again later, or pay at a nearby parking area. Very inconvenient! The first day, the hot water wasn’t hot either. The shower was torture.

The room had an excellent bed and bathroom, and breakfast was very good. This is a well-refurbished old villa with large rooms and high ceilings. The decor may use too much black, but that’s just my personal opinion. Iuliana was a welcoming and helpful host, thank you for everything. It’s on a quiet street, with parking on a nearby street, and about a 10-minute walk to Sibiu’s central square.

The staff were very helpful, including with parking on an adjacent road. The room was very clean, and the bed exceptionally comfortable. There was a wide choice of good-quality breakfast. Inside the ancient walls of the town center, the hotel has a 19th century atmosphere while still offering modern comforts, especially in the bathroom. A great experience, I’d recommend it.
