We booked somewhere else for the next day. That pretty much says it all. Don’t stay here unless you really have to. The worst part was the shower. The cabin had solid cement walls and a door, but no light at all. The bulb wasn’t broken or missing, there was no fixture in there. You had to rely on a little light coming around the corner from another bulb and shower in the dark. The shower head was also broken and sprayed water everywhere, while the cabin door wouldn’t shut properly, so the bathroom flooded. We were meant to get one double and one single room, but were given a triple instead. There was no linen for the third person when we arrived, and they brought it up as we were being shown to the room. Towels had been forgotten too. We thought at least the room might be clean, then found a used bandaid stuck to the faucet. There was no view, just railway tracks and industrial buildings. On the first floor, powerlines were right outside the window, close enough to reach out and touch. The wardrobe was basically a wooden box with doors, no hangers, rail, shelves, or drawers, and it was supposed to serve three people. At checkout, nobody was at reception. I found some phone numbers and called the owner, who said he’d send someone. When the woman arrived, she was annoyed that I’d called and scolded me for using the cell number instead of the landline, even though she keeps the cell phone with her. Never again.

You can arrive at any hour, and there seems to be a free room available all the time. No reservation is needed, and the conditions are good. Best place.

The staff were good and the internet worked well, but our room got no sunlight and had a bad smell. The building and furniture are old.

Promenada Mall and Sibiu train station are very close by. The old center is also within walking distance.
