Pensiunea Maria Sibiu

The host was attentive and very nice, and the breakfast was delicious, served in generous, fresh portions. There’s a large garden, new buildings, and the rooms are roomy, lovely, and very clean. They also have indoor parking, a fish pond, and a small pool. I’d gladly recommend the place.

A lovely, beautiful place. The owner takes care of a few small stray dogs, and they’re incredibly adorable and cuddly.

I stayed one night as a stop on my trip, though I’d happily have stayed longer. The rooms were clean, the place was quiet, and the service felt professional and pleasant. There’s an awesome view over Sibiu and the Carpathian Mountains. I’d recommend staying here if you need accommodation in Sibiu.

The building has a lovely, picturesque feel, and the kitchen is great, with free coffee from the machine. We were especially grateful to the hosts for coming to help when our car got stuck in the mud late at night. You’ll want your own transport, since it’s a little way out of town.
