The staff were friendly and helpful, and our stay in Sibiu was perfect. We had to leave very early, so we asked how checkout would work. The evening before, they put the breakfast items in our room freezer so we could make sandwiches to take with us.

The bathroom felt dated and could use renovation, but the receptionist was kind and ready with advice and anything else we needed. Our room at Teatro was spacious and clean, and the mattress was comfortably firm. We shared a lovely terrace overlooking the old area. There was a Saxons festival in the city, yet the hotel stayed quiet despite being only steps from the events. We really enjoyed our weekend there.

The restaurant downstairs deserves special mention: the diverse, international team of waiters gave excellent service, and the food was absolutely delicious. The rooms were good, the host very warm, and the location is right in the middle of Sibiu's old town. Strongly recommend.

We visited the newly reopened Teatro twice as tourists and would come back. The menu was large and available in English, the cocktails were delicious, and the food was great. Staff were attentive and friendly.
