The breakfast was the best part. You order from the restaurant menu, and the Benedict eggs and fries with eggs were amazing. Our room looked over the Grand Square, and the view was perfect. The rooms are simply and minimally furnished, but the design and furniture make the space feel welcoming for conversation. The materials are nice, the beds are comfy, and the windows insulate well against the bells, though you can still hear them. This was the best accommodation I’ve had in Sibiu. One downside: staff didn’t come to empty our trash or replace supplies, like the shower gel that ran out on day two and never came back. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Sibiu.

The food came out fairly quickly and tasted good, and the staff were friendly. I found the side portions a little small.

You enter through a passage that feels like Alice in Wonderland, then find a historic monument with modern, luxurious rooms. The floors are carpeted, the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the cleanliness was outstanding. It’s the most beautiful accommodation in the Great Square. Everything, from breakfast to the rooms, was exceptional.

The bathtub wasn’t working, and there was no hot water while we were staying there. We sent a message that evening, but didn’t get a reply until the next day.

The staff were genuinely lovely and helpful, easily a 10 out of 10. The room was well equipped and nicely decorated, and the old, beautiful atmosphere is something to experience. This Hungarian historical house sits right in the large square, next to shops and other restaurants. Highly recommended.
