Cabana Victor

It’s a quiet, lovely place with a traditional Romanian feel. The rooms are clean and pleasant, with wooden walls, and the prices are very fair. You can have fresh trout cooked in the traditional way here, and it’s very good. The bathrooms aren’t especially cozy or modern, but they’re manageable.

The hosts are nice, and we enjoyed the good food and clean bed. We were looking for somewhere surrounded by wild nature, and that’s exactly what we found. The bathroom is, well, there. There were no mosquito screens on the windows, and there’s almost no phone signal, so call the hosts ahead of time from the main road. The grounds are cared for, with animals, flowers, and a gazebo beside a small river. The last few kilometers of the little road are pretty rough. We might choose somewhere a little more comfortable next time, but our impression was positive overall.

Most of the food and products are homemade or local, and the owners are very attentive. It’s clean and quiet, set far from the main road and almost in the forest. We got to relax and unwind, and it was a great way to experience rural life or simply spend time somewhere peaceful.

The people here are incredibly nice, and the place is lovely, close to nature and agriculture. Definitely order food from Victors wife, it’s worth it, but expect plenty of meat.
