There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, since the place is close to the Center. The room was immaculate when we arrived, and the very soft mattress helped me fall asleep quickly, which doesn’t usually happen easily for me. The quality for the price is among the best in Sighetu Marmatiei, and the hospitality was 10/10.

A new, modern hotel that works well for a simple overnight stay. The hostess speaks English. The rooms are cozy and warm, with hot water, a TV, and WiFi.

The place is clean and tidy, with hot water and WiFi, and the price is low for the good conditions. The woman working there was very pleasant and spoke good English. They take lei or euros, and the rate was 150 lei a night. I didn’t realize at first that this was the hotel: go into the courtyard, and it’s the white two-story building.

I stayed here from April 22-24, 2025. For people who crossed the border illegally because of the war and have temporary migration protection in Sziget, I’d recommend it for a couple of nights to rest after the hard journey from war to freedom. It’s an inexpensive, comfortable place to rest and sleep peacefully, not far from the center, with everything nearby, including Lidl. The owners are very friendly and sincere. You can spend a few nights here for less than at other expensive hotels.
