The setting was peaceful and scenic, where the Iza and Mara rivers meet, and it made a lovely base for exploring the Maramureș region. What made the visit truly memorable, though, was the time we shared over meals. Ramona cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners full of local flavors, laughter, and joy. We felt like part of the family. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Ramona and Petre welcomed us with warmth, generosity, and genuine hospitality. This beautiful guest house is a place to connect, relax, and experience Romanian village life. Thank you, Ramona and Petre, for such a meaningful and memorable stay.

The modern room and bathroom were lovely, and Ramona made us feel so welcome. She’s a wonderful host. What a hidden gem, with food good enough to rival any top chef.

Romona and her family were incredibly friendly and made the place feel so homely. The delicious food kept us well fed, and I even fell in love with their cat. It was a great experience and a refreshing change from a regular hotel.

Our small group tour loved the place, and I wish we could have stayed another day. Ramona was a wonderful hostess. We arrived very late but she still served us a lovely dinner at 10:30pm, then made us an amazing breakfast the next morning. While we were out sightseeing, she even managed to do our laundry. Her house was spotless and very comfortable.

Just had an amazing traditional Romanian dinner. Superb, and I highly recommend it.
