Casa Adalmo

We found the place at a very fair price, with spacious rooms, helpful and extremely friendly staff, and free on-site parking. A separate building has a huge dining area with complimentary coffee and tea, plus a microwave, fridge, plenty of tables, board games, and a TV. They seem to have everything you could think of. Definitely recommend!

The hosts were attentive and welcoming during our weekend at the Adalmo house in Sighisoara. We had a spacious, clean room and a generous, tasty breakfast. The garden was beautifully laid out too.

The garden at the back was my favorite part, with trees, flowers, and benches where I could sit in the sun and enjoy the quiet. The owners also made a fresh Romanian style breakfast with vegetables from their garden, which I loved. The room was big, clean, and very nice, and the pension is well placed for getting to the center on foot, about a 10-minute walk. The owners were friendly and helpful, and I was pleasantly surprised by Casa Adalmo. I had a wonderful stay and would choose it again next time I'm in Sighișoara. 😍

The staff were welcoming, and the rooms seemed fairly clean, though I did find Psocoptera crawling on the walls. They're harmless unless you have allergies. I didn't understand the five-star ratings, unless they're relative to the city, which honestly doesn't say much. The pillows were too high for me, and one had an unpleasant dusty smell. Some bathrooms smelled bad, as other reviews mention, and could use a few more amenities, such as shower gel. Some rooms have wooden doors with no sound insulation, so you can hear things like the gate opening and closing. I wouldn't stay here again, and the city itself isn't what it used to be either.
