The room’s medieval feel paired really well with the modern utilities, and the location was perfect, very close to all the places of interest. My only small gripe is that the pillows and mattresses were much softer than we’re used to, though that’s subjective, so I’m still giving it five stars. The place was clean, the bathroom had no unpleasant smells, and the water pressure was perfect.

We spent six nights here, and the bedroom and bathroom were very pleasant. Breakfast and drinks were good, and the sauna and hot tub both worked well, though you need to request them ahead of time. The advertised masseuse wasn't available. Mornings could be noisy outside because it's such a touristy area, and a dog barked every morning. The curtains also let in daylight. Still, I'd recommend the stay.

The rooms have a convincing medieval feel, and you can tell the furniture was chosen with care. It feels like a special heritage place where history has stood still.

The location was good, and I enjoyed the breakfast. We paid for three people, though the third bed wasn't a proper bed and wasn't comfortable. Our two rooms were connected, but the bedroom had no air conditioning; opening the windows would have been too noisy. For a drink, they suggested the bar opposite, where they charge 1 RON just to open a bottle.
