Hotel Boutique Belvedere

The room and facilities were great, and the kitchenette had everything it needed. Breakfast was also very good, with lovely waiters, and the hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. I only found out about the playground as we were leaving, even though I had a child with me. The breakfast was much better than the lunch or dinner food, too. And the wine bottle I ordered was billed at a price 20% above the one shown on the menu.

Breakfast and dinner were both really good, and the little gift at checkout was a lovely final touch. The giant Jacuzzi was great fun, the rooms felt very welcoming, and the service was immaculate. We felt more than welcome the whole time. The price felt justified, and I’ll definitely come back.

We’d missed breakfast after oversleeping, so the call from reception 25 minutes after it was supposed to close was such a nice surprise. We were the only room that hadn’t come down, and they invited us in. Everything we tried was fresh and good quality, with plenty of choice, and the staff kindly made coffee, tea, or cappuccino. The breakfast had been delightful, and that call really made our day. The place was clean, cozy, and felt new and tidy. Staff were polite and caring, and Lorand is a real asset. Dinner was great too. We had deer and wild boar stew brought to our room, and it was a delicacy. There’s no need to eat in town. We recommend the hotel and would stay again, or stop for a meal if passing through. Great staff and service, thank you! 👏

The spa was a real treat. We booked a slot for the hammam, steam room, and jacuzzi pool, had it to ourselves, and the owner kindly gave us extra time. She clearly cares about guests’ comfort. I’m very fussy, but I’d stay here again without hesitation. It sits above a small hill, with lovely forest views, fresh air, and a peaceful feel from both balconies in our room. The building and setting are beautiful. Our room was large and luxurious, and the included breakfast had plenty of fresh food, nicely presented. Room service was delicious, cooked perfectly in the traditional style, which I especially enjoyed. From our 2pm check-in, everyone greeted us with a smile and the staff were incredibly helpful. Ice, a fan, or help with the room and spa bath were all provided without fuss. It’s a hotel that really cares. Don’t hesitate to book, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Sophocles xo
