The place itself was lovely, and the hosts seemed fine at first. But we had no heat in one bedroom on New Year’s Eve, and the radiators were leaking. I understand that it couldn’t be fixed that night, but getting no compensation for those poor conditions was unacceptable. They also made us leave the rooms an hour before checkout so they could sort things out for the next guests. When I messaged the owner to raise the issue, he stopped responding. They seemed okay at first, but this left a bad impression.

The location is fine, but there’s no toilet in the room, and getting the car out of the yard is difficult in snowy winter weather. Otherwise, a 10.

The cottage was even prettier than the photos, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. The thoughtful touches ranged from the dishes to hammocks and toys for children, and they’d also provided a cot and high chair for the babies. We had no trouble with the hot water or its pressure, and the recently paved road was manageable in any car. The owner was lovely, attentive to what we needed, and very discreet. We had a really pleasant stay and hope to return soon. Thank you for everything, we’d definitely recommend it and come back.

Important warning: don’t go, even if it’s free. The villa is cute and in a nice spot, with decent rooms, but there’s no running water. They say it’s a pressure problem, and reviews from last year mention the same issue, so it still hasn’t been fixed. You can’t even flush the toilet. I’d leave them a mess on the handles.
