The terrace has a lovely mountain view, and the staff were very friendly. The menu is only in Romanian, but they translated everything into English and explained how each dish is made. The portions are huge, and the freshly cooked traditional Romanian food tasted homemade.
The rooms were modernly furnished and very clean, and the food was good at fair prices for Sinaia. It’s nicely located on the road to the slopes. Breakfast was served late, though, even after we requested a specific time and they agreed to it.
They seemed really understaffed, and the whole meal was a mess. The grilled chicken we ordered was raw inside. When I told the waitress, she didn’t try to apologize or offer to fix it. Some of our other dishes were tasty, but they took a very long time to arrive.
The setting is perfect for a relaxing day in the Carpathians, and you can head up to the mountaintop from here. I only ate at the restaurant, and the food was even better than I expected. It came out pretty quickly too, and the service was great.
A quiet spot with music in the background, good food, and normal prices. The menu has a medium amount of variety, with more drinks than food choices. One thing to know: you can only pay in cash, not by credit card.
