Vila Felix

For a villa where you prepare your own meals, this is great value. The shared kitchen has what you need, and its appliances are kept in good working order. Rooms are cleaned regularly and come with a minibar-style fridge and TV. A solid option for families with kids or a small group.

The room was lovely and spotless, and the place sits on a quiet street just off the town's main boulevard. There's a little garden with a play spot for younger kids. They can't provide breakfast or other meals at the moment, but the host's recommendations were right on, and coffee, tea, and water are available free all day. The TV only had a handful of mainstream channels that weren't blocked, though really, if you're there to watch TV, you're doing it wrong :)

The view from our window was amazing, and everything in the room and bathroom was really clean. We stayed three nights at Vila Felix and had a lovely time. There's a kitchen with all the basics, plus complimentary coffee or tea in the morning. Sorin, the owner, is kind and gentle. I'd happily recommend it.

The terrace is a lovely spot, with tables, chairs, a swing, and toys for children. There's coffee, tea, and fruit in the dining area, and breakfast can be arranged if you ask. The location is good, fairly close to Peles, though parking is on the sidewalk. We were warmly welcomed, and the rooms were very clean, with daily service, private bathrooms, and balconies. Some look out toward the garden. The walls are thin, so noise from other rooms or outside carries easily. Still, I'd recommend it for any kind of holiday.
