Having a nice park right beside the hotel and plenty of shops close by made the location really convenient. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and the staff served us in their lovely garden. The only downside was that the reception was often unattended.

The restaurant has a good range of local and international dishes, and on certain days there’s local live music upstairs on the second floor. Rooms are on the ground and first floors, with the lower level being quieter. There’s public parking, and Lidl, Penny and Aldi are about 700 m away. You can walk to the center in around 25 minutes along the main street, which has shops. A good hotel.

At 1 am we were woken by really loud music and people screaming in the room next door. The receptionist was friends with them and took their side. She told us we could take our things and our two-year-old and leave for a different hotel in the middle of the night, offering our money back. It was awful, and she didn’t seem to care at all. Be warned, this hotel isn’t what it claims to be. Worst night I’ve ever had in a hotel.

I ended up looking for another hotel in the middle of the night because live music from the restaurant directly above the rooms was exceptionally loud. The restaurant is on the second floor and the rooms are on the first. A very unpleasant experience.

The room was warm, quiet, and a good size, with a nicely sized bathroom and storage in the wardrobe. Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were pleasant and polite. We’ll definitely come back.
