Casa Dora

Truly outstanding.

We were three adults and a 9-month-old baby, and left feeling disappointed. For 250 lei a night, I expected decent sheets and a clean bathroom. Instead, the bedding looked awful, with stained, faded sheets that seemed worn out from too many washes. I even wondered if they were linens someone had stopped using. There were crumbs on the floor when we arrived, the air felt stuffy, and the carpet was in poor shape. I can only guess they put those sheets on because they thought the baby might wet the bed. I’m posting a photo of what the child found 🤦🏽‍♀️

We spent New Year's Eve at Casa Dora and had a really good stay. The rooms and yard were clean, everything we needed was there, and the place left a pleasant impression on me.

The view and setting were lovely, and otherwise everything was fine. It’s a well-kept guesthouse, with a fair price for what you get. I did notice dust, though, and it seemed like nobody had stayed there for a while before us. Finding it took some effort: the street where Dora's house is doesn’t show up on Google, and GPS sent us one street above, behind the guesthouse.
