The hosts really cared that we enjoyed our stay, and the hospitality was incredible. The place is clean and warm, with a great location near the forest and lake. What you get for the low price is excellent. The room furniture is dated, but if that doesn’t bother you, I’d recommend staying here.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff and location were both 10/10. Great value for money too. The furniture is a little dated, which is why I’m giving it four stars. We’ll probably return.

We’d booked two nights, but after checking in we left and found somewhere else to stay. The building is old and run down, and the room was very outdated. The beds squeaked badly, the sheets had spots, and the bathroom smelled. The toilet paper was just sitting on the small shelf above the sink, and there was no WiFi. Reception told us to wait five minutes for hot water. The photos make the place look nice, but reality was different. Parking is on a gravel area across the street, so good luck hauling luggage if you’re elderly. At least we got our deposit back.

A castle-style villa with a handy shortcut to Ursu Lake. The rooms were clean, the management was nice, and the price was good. Enjoy Sovata.

Dirty rooms, no hot water, disgusting food, and really unkind service. It was a horrible experience, nothing like the pictures. I wouldn’t recommend it.
