If you’re after a quiet break, you can swap city noise for birdsong and the creek, and still keep the whole family or a group of friends occupied. The place works well for a barbecue with friends, pool time and the sauna, and if you rent it out, you have the place to yourselves. Heated mineral salt water from a nearby spring is also there for sore limbs or back pain. It’s a good base for exploring the Salt-county, and electric bikes are available for a fee. The house has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom and balcony. It’s ideal for four, though six can fit using the living room sofa. There’s privacy and cleanliness in a wooden valley beside Sovata creek. You get a private garden with your own grill. Ask the staff for their grilled aubergine cream recipe. The heated pool is 140 cm deep and suitable for children or non-swimmers. There’s also a heated salt water pool, a fresh water jacuzzi and a sauna. For gathering, there’s a shared fireplace and a platform by the creek with armchairs and tables. Kids have a playground, and there’s a large room for ping-pong or rainy-day activities. Electric biking can make even the steepest slopes feel flat. A trout farm is within walking distance, with a 100% chance of a good catch. The neighbours are friendly, and house rules are enforced in case they aren’t, so other people don’t spoil your vacation.

We’ve been here four or five times and plan to come back. It’s a wonderful place in the mountains on the edge of Sovata. There’s a sauna, jacuzzi, pool, and an outdoor bath with warm salt water. The people are very friendly and look after you.

The pool has warm water, the hot tub is filled with salt water, and the sauna is very well maintained. The accommodation was wonderful in a beautiful place. Five stars from me.

There’s lots of room and privacy, and the location is beautiful. The clean apartment had everything we needed: a coffee machine, oven, dishwasher, plenty of cooking utensils, and more. You can have a campfire or barbecue, or enjoy your morning coffee by the river. We’ll definitely come again!
