The people were very friendly and easy to deal with, and I have no complaints about them. The value for the price could use some work, though. The windows are single glazed and the toilet fittings aren’t great, so some upgrades are needed. I might give it another try sometime next year.
We felt very welcome and had a lovely stay. The hosts were warm, and the place is green, pet friendly, and close to the center.
I only spoke with the owner briefly when I arrived and left. I got the key, exchanged a few words, and had no problems during my stay. The room with two beds and a kitchen is spacious, and I’d recommend it for a family.
This is a studio style place without meal service, but the kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, dishes, and dishwashing detergent. The bathroom has a bathtub, washing machine, and detergent. It’s right in the center of Sovata, two minutes from the Penny store and a pharmacy, and near the roads leading in three directions, including Sovata tourist, Praid, and Campul Cetatii.
The location was a big plus, close to Peny and the beach. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, plus a barbecue we could use, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. It really felt like home, and the stay was well worth it.
