The service was flawless, the food was great, and the people were warm and genuine. The place sits beautifully against the Făgăraș Mountains, with Mănăstirea Brâncoveanu just a 15-minute walk away. The one downside is the lack of air conditioning, and you do notice it.
The food was pretty good most of the time, and the hotel itself was quite nice. Our room was a bit dirty, though, and there were stains on the sheets.
The hotel is in a good location and the room was okay, but the restaurant service was a disaster. We waited an hour for the food after ordering. The woman serving us seemed very nervous and used obscene language. I advise the owner to get rid of her as soon as possible.
You can see Moldoveanu peak, Romania's highest peak, from here, and the boss was very kind and friendly. The place is also suitable for weddings and events.
The menu was much like what you'd find in any Romanian bistro. As for the rooms, we were first given one on the first floor with a cracked shower tray. After the bathroom flooded, we were moved to a third-floor room, where there was fungus on the ceiling.
