That landscape is what made this a five-star stay for me, it felt magical. The owners really do their best to make you feel at home, and there’s a good range of tasty food. There’s pool and ping pong indoors, plus a gym, though I didn’t have time to check it out.

It’s a peaceful spot, and you can walk to Sucevița Monastery, the fortified monastery built in the 16th century. The host was wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The bed sheets left white lint all over my pajamas, maybe there was too much detergent or the fabric was just old. Also, the lights by the bed didn’t work. Apart from those things, the room was fine, the food was okay, and it’s a good place.

The room was huge and really clean, and the owner and staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel and its location are incredibly beautiful. Food at the restaurant is delicious and inexpensive.
