Casa 5ive

The jacuzzi was one of the main reasons we booked, so finding it filthy on Saturday was infuriating. The owner said she couldn't clean it until Monday, even though we'd booked well ahead. Only after we said we'd contact consumer protection did she clean it, which took two hours. She filled it with cold tap water, so it wasn't usable until Sunday morning, when it had finally warmed up. The house had seemed modern and comfortable, and we were looking forward to our bachelorette weekend. But the heat was already a problem when we arrived: it was 33°C outside and 26°C indoors. We couldn't find the AC remote, and the owner said using air conditioning would cost 30 RON per room. We only wanted to cool the hall. She said it was only turned on “when it’s really hot,” then came over to switch it on without leaving us the remote, as if we couldn't be trusted with it. We were also told another family was coming, so we had to tidy the kitchen, which had only a few plates and bottles, and keep quiet after 10 PM so their children could sleep. We'd made it clear from the start this was a bachelorette party. We weren't planning to be in bed by 10. This was the worst hosting experience we've had. The owner's lack of professionalism and respect for guests was appalling. Some customer service training would help :)
