Primera Dru Hotel&Spa

The pools and spa are the best part of the place. The rooms, though, are tiny and not very comfortable. Still, it wasn't a bad stay.

The food was a real highlight. We had a great à la carte meal, and breakfast was very good too. The hotel looks modern and was clean throughout. We stayed in room 111, where a nearby air conditioning system buzzed all night. We usually bring earplugs when we travel, so those helped and it was manageable, but the noise is why I gave the room four stars. I'd stay as far from that room as possible, though I'm not sure which rooms are quieter. The spa is huge, but guests from outside the hotel can pay an entrance fee to use it, so it can get crowded. Apart from that, I'd recommend the place.

Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including air conditioning. The restaurant was excellent and fairly priced, and the staff were accommodating and spoke excellent English. There are several pools: the smaller one with slides was especially fun, and there's also an indoor pool with relaxing jets, a children's pool, and a lap pool. Great hotel and resort, and I'd happily recommend it.

The staff were kind, and the food arrived quickly and was quite tasty. Just don't expect anything fancy. The setting isn't much to look at, and the signs are pretty poor. Several nearby buildings are under renovation or left unused, and parts of the hotel are being renovated too. The spa is quite worn out.
