The rooms look a little tired in places, though they're comfortable and well equipped. We ate delicious food and had a very nice breakfast with good coffee. The staff were kind, friendly and professional, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Good value for a stay, I'd recommend it.

Watch out for the man at reception. I asked whether there were any rooms, and he unexpectedly asked if I was in the US army. He then said nothing was available. I checked Booking right then and saw a room listed for 300 lei. He removed it from the system and told me it was now available for 400 lei. He lost my custom, and I'd stay well away from him.

We arrived late at night and checked in without any trouble. The room was clean, the bed was big, and breakfast was good.
