Han Paprika Tureni

The fish was delicious, especially since they took it right out of the restaurant’s basin, and the mici were good too. We stopped here on the way home from the Salina and found the service super nice. It’s a nice spot with a good view, and although the restaurant is right by the main street, there’s a quiet garden out back. I’d recommend it.

The room felt like a step back to the 90s, with old, cheap furniture, mold, rusty bits, swollen wood, marks on the floor and dirt everywhere. There was hair on the floor, though the bathroom was clean. The included dinner and breakfast were poor and cheap, and most of the staff weren’t very polite, apart from one young girl. I won’t stay here again. I did appreciate the clean sheets, warm water, and large double room. A clean, comfortable bed and hot water matter to me, which is why I gave this rating. Otherwise, it was the worst accommodation ever.

We were delayed while on a Depeche mode tour into cluj, but the staff stayed up very late to cook dinner for about 14 of us. They were friendly, and we enjoyed our stay. The salt mine at turda is a must.

We booked for 116 lei/ron, but when we arrived they tried to charge us 150 lei/Ron. We showed the booking confirmation and paid the normal price. They then said they couldn’t change money, though luckily we had the right amount. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly after the last guest: there was gum in the shower and another piece stomped into the room. At least it’s cheap. The room was very big and breakfast was good. Fine for one cheap night.
