Cormoran Resort Hotel

We had some trouble with the hot water during our first two days, but the resort staff responded and fixed it. The buffet food was good, though the à la carte menu didn't have much variety. It's a good place to spend time with family and friends. We enjoyed our week at the resort, as did our friends.

For wildlife, there aren't many places to explore around the complex, since it's fenced to keep the farm animals away from the tourists, or perhaps the other way around. I did find a few small gaps where I could watch a variety of local wildlife in the nearby waters. You can also rent boats for 4, 6 or 10 people at reception for tours of the wildlife-rich lakes. The farm has sheep, cows, pigs and some horses. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. My room was a decent size, clean and tidy, with a balcony overlooking the St. George branch of the Danube. Meals are self-service, with plenty of dishes to choose and combine. Water, coffee and juices are free, while other drinks are available to buy at the bar. The staff were great, hardworking and attentive. There are bikes, sports fields and lots of room to jog or walk. There's a lot to say, mostly good, though it'll depend on your tastes and expectations. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely return if I get the chance.

The traditional dishes are for everyone to enjoy, and the place is worth every penny 💙. I also picked up some Romanian phrases from one of the staff. I enjoyed my stay: the service was great, and the staff were friendly and didn't discriminate based on color.

The bar, restaurant and boat staff were lovely and helpful, and tried to meet every request. Reception could use some work on guest relations, though the older lady there on our last day was nice. The rooms are big, but you sometimes have to ask for amenities. The food was good with lots of fish, the pool was big enough, and there's a nice game room above the bar.
