We brought our experimental expedition project, 10.5m long, and there was plenty of room. The showers and toilets were good, and you can barbecue. They run on solar panels and are self-sufficient for electricity. It's about a 10-minute walk to the main entertainment area. The owners are lovely and always around if you need something. It's a nice campground for a few days or weeks. Weekends can get a bit noisy, but it's manageable with earplugs. Thank you, Laurent and Frances

We had a wonderful post-wedding holiday with the family. The owners were so kind and helpful, and the place was quiet, clean, and well located. We had the cuibăr started for our family and had a great time. Definitely a good spot to stay in Vama Veche.

The property covers around 20 000 square meters, so there's loads of room compared with most places nearby, which are around 300-500 square meters. It's also one of the few spots in Vama Veche where you can find shade during the day, handy when it's around 36-38 degrees Celsius. Coffee, beer, and water even cost less here than at the area's supermarkets. It suits families, groups, and solo travelers, and brings back the old spirit of Vama Veche, from when making friends was cheaper than it is today. Vama Veche means 'Old Border'. My one wish is earlier coffee. I'm a morning person, but if you want a cup before 6:30 AM, you'll have to wait until 7 AM. Still, it's a great place to be in Vama Veche. Give it a try and see for yourself.

It's a welcoming campground with bungalows and rooms to rent. The hosts are friendly, and the kitchen and showers are clean. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away.

The people and owners are so friendly, and the facilities, setting, and general feel all make this place worth a visit. Probably the best campground I've seen in Romania and along the Black Sea coast.
