It's a shame, because the property is nice and close to the sea. Still, the owners' approach felt like they were trying to squeeze money from customers. We booked 11 rooms for four nights at the end of the season. Availability wasn't a problem, but there was no discount. One guest couldn't make it, leaving a room unused. At checkout, I asked whether I could pay for just the first night instead of all four, since nobody had stayed in that room. The owner bluntly said the full four nights had to be paid. It came across as, why not take €150 from someone already paying €3,000? It's a shame the owners seem to miss that running a business involves more than making a profit.

The room view hit me hard, I even teared up because it was my first time seeing the sea in years. I'm so glad I picked this place. The staff were amazing, and it's rare to find a barman who enjoys chatting with customers and makes such good cocktails. I plan to come back next year and will recommend it to all my friends.

Vama Veche doesn't offer many decent choices, so it can feel like you have to settle for this place. The property itself is clean and updated, but the price is extremely high for what's offered. The staff could also be more courteous and lose the shi*t attitude.

Mike the lovely dog was a highlight. The rooms and terraces are spacious, clean, and cozy, and the place is close to the sea. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back!
