The rooms were clean and the views are lovely, but there were a few issues. The bathroom equipment wasn’t working properly and needed attention, and breakfast was limited and not traditional. They keep a large shepherd dog in a small kennel beside the building, and it sometimes barks a lot at night. The owners seem well intentioned, but I wasn’t sure what kind of place they’re trying to run, whether Airbnb, traditional, modern, pension or hotel style. They took over less than a year ago. We stayed three nights and, for the first two, we were the only guests because the owners only come on weekends.

Lucy came along with us, and dogs are welcome. The quiet spot sits well back from the main street, with walking trails starting right at the property and plenty for kids to do. Bogdan was a warm, friendly manager who went out of his way to help, even buying charcoal for our BBQ, and his English was perfect. The facilities and views across this beautiful part of Bucovina, Romania, were great. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of fresh bread, butter and homemade jam, and we could use the kitchen after noon. This is the best B&B I’ve stayed in, and I’ve traveled a lot in Romania.

The pancakes with sweet cheese are worth trying, and the traditional food we had was amazing. Bogdan and his crew were welcoming, friendly and always ready to help. The modern, clean place has a gorgeous view, with popular tourist attractions nearby as well as forest walking paths.

The hosts were lovely, and the view from our room was amazingly beautiful. Breakfast was a nice buffet. It’s been my best place to stay in Romania so far, though it’s a pity we didn’t try dinner.

The manager and staff made me feel especially welcome, and everyone was friendly. The house was comfortable and clean, the location was great, and the homemade local food was lovely. A really pleasant stay in a quality pension. Thanks!
