We spent a week at the Hygge Hut with the kids, and the huge fenced yard, with green hills surrounding it on every side, made it a lovely setting. The owners helped with every detail, from cold drinks when we arrived late at night to tips on sightseeing and things to keep the children busy. Inside, there was plenty of kitchen space, big bathrooms and large beds with very comfortable mattresses. Everything we needed was there, along with a real sense of peace. Thanks for a vacation we'll remember. We'll be back!

Hygge Hut is a traditional Romanian home that's 100 years old, and somehow it has the feel of a 5-star luxury hotel. We loved staying in the idyllic Bucovina landscape, and came away feeling we'd made memories to last a lifetime. We're sure we'll return soon.

Out of the places we've found so far, this is one of the best combinations of rustic architecture with modern comforts and amenities. It's quiet and remote, and the hosts are incredibly gracious.

I felt right at home here in the countryside, with great accommodation. There's good mountain biking in the area, and the campfire was a lovely bonus.

The house was spotless and so cosy, it brought back memories of my grandmother's home. A beautiful setting, a lovely place to stay, and wonderful hosts.
