We loved how much room there was at Cabana Deac. We were there in March 2024 with two families and young kids, and nobody felt cramped in the huge house. The terrace was a great spot to take in the stunning views. The house feels modern but still cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. After a day out exploring, the sauna and traditional hot tub were especially relaxing. Its location also worked well, close to famous monasteries, hiking trails, and ski slopes. It made for a fantastic mountain getaway, and we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the Romanian mountains.

The views were spectacular with snow falling while we relaxed in the hot tub. I came with friends and we had a great time. Host Sofia was so nice and helpful, going above and beyond with all our requests. Best weekend I’ve ever spent at a lodge.

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, from oil and seasonings to plates and cutlery. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a unique design, and the view was amazing. I recommend it!

The rooms were pristine, and honestly, this place is easily comparable to a 4-star hotel. It has a sauna, rustic bathrooms, and a kitchen with a bar and complimentary drinks. There’s also a BBQ, a full-size chess board, and a rustic hot tub, the "ciubar".
