The views are astonishing whichever way you look, and the waterfall is right beside the pension. We loved the heated pool and outdoor BBQ area. Inside, there’s a huge living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom downstairs, plus four upstairs bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and balcony. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We can’t thank them enough and will definitely be back!
The marked hiking routes maintained by Potecatorii, the mountain trail volunteers, were lovely. This hut sits beside the Pisoaia Vidrii waterfall in a spectacular setting, and the hosts were great. The price is reasonable. It seems best to rent the whole place, which works for three or four families or a group of 10-15 friends.
Cascada Pisoaia is only a minute’s walk away, and Pensiunea Cascada makes a nice base for relaxing, having a BBQ, or seeing the beautiful places nearby. I gave it four stars because the footpath to the waterfall isn’t really passable when the weather is wet or snowy.
We were a group of 17 and had a nice time. The landscape is beautiful, and the waterfall is about 200 meters away. Very relaxing.
Everything else was good, though they were missing things like shower gel and a hair dryer.
