The rooms are warm and spacious, the place looks great, it’s clean, and the food is tasty. Even with heavy snow for two days straight, the road remained usable. It’s quite remote, so you need a car to get to the tourist village. When I visited, the pool was cold, murky, dirty, and simply unusable. It needs a lot of care. Apart from the pool and backyard, there’s nothing on site to keep you busy in winter, so don’t expect to spend much time indoors.

We drove over 600 km to stay at this hotel, only to arrive in the evening and find that our room had been given to someone else. We’d reserved it days earlier and had even spoken with them that same day, when everything seemed fine. They blamed a new employee, but the whole thing felt fishy. The other rooms they showed us were small and completely different, and we think that’s why whoever had our room wanted it instead. We had to leave and wait in the car while looking for another place nearby. The staff didn’t offer even one apology. On top of that, the restaurant was closed when we arrived at 8 PM. A very disappointing experience, with an unprofessional attitude that made it seem they simply didn’t care about us as guests. We’ll never return.

When we complained about the rooms and service, they told us to leave without refunding our money. The hotel also says pets aren’t allowed, yet three big dogs were wandering freely through it. It’s old and dirty, with broken furniture and extremely rude staff. Receptionist Delia Stoica was completely unprofessional, answering in ways that seemed meant to offend us instead of helping. I’d give zero stars if I could. This place should be avoided at all costs. A shame of a hotel.

The heated indoor pool and wet sauna were lovely, and we had them all to ourselves. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay. Service was impeccable from reception and the bar to room cleaning. It’s near Bran castle and within reach of Brașov and Râșnov for visiting. The price for two days, including Spa access and breakfast, wasn’t bad at all.
