The rooms are on the small side, but clean and arranged very well. The host is welcoming, and I’d happily recommend the place.

The rooms are as basic as they come. There was no shampoo or hair dryer, and nobody asked what time I’d be leaving. They didn’t offer tea or even a glass of water. It was just a room.

At Cristomar Guesthouse, courtyard access is straight off the main road. It’s at the entrance to Bran when arriving from Brasov. The hosts are welcoming and attentive to guests, and some bathroom upgrades have been done. There are seven rooms, each with a private bathroom, shower, and TV. Hot water is available, along with play areas and parking in the yard. There’s also a hall for small events. Rooms are usually rented without breakfast, but there are places to eat and restaurants nearby.
