Orasac Garni

The breakfast was poor. It was the same both days, and the cheese and bread weren’t fresh. The bigger problem came at checkout: we were charged double the price we’d been quoted. We signed a document with one amount on arrival, but the bill for our two-night stay was completely different and much higher. When we asked about it, the manager yelled instead of trying to resolve things. That behavior was unacceptable. Between the stale food, the pricing and the terrible customer service, this felt like a complete scam. Avoid it at all costs.

The room was tiny and uncomfortable, with barely space for anything. I had nowhere to put toiletries or bags, or to work. There weren’t enough towels for the number of people charged, and the bed for two was miniature. The price should be half as much. I couldn’t cancel and rebook to correct my faulty booking, and they wouldn’t change anything. Poor staff training cost me time and nerves, including time I could have spent seeing the city. The location was awful for me: my window faced the street and car traffic, with a huge vent in front of it, probably from the supermarket downstairs or the parking garage, from the ground floor businesses rather than the hotel.

Elena, the administrator, helped me and I’m grateful. It was my first stay here, and I liked it a lot: the place felt clean, beautiful and safe, and breakfast was very tasty. I recommend the hotel to everyone.

Good location, helpful staff, and parking included.
