The hosts were so polite and helpful that I’d happily return. It’s a charming apartment in the city center, with good connections to other parts of town.

We had towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The apartment was generally clean and stayed very warm even though it was bitterly cold outside. You can walk to several tourist spots, and there’s a view over part of the city. The cigarette smell was awful, especially in the living room. I know people smoke in plenty of restaurants, but I didn’t expect an apartment to smell like a bar. Also, the booking information didn’t mention that payment had to be in cash. We had to find an ATM, and the fees were ridiculous: €5 for €50, or 10%, and 400 RSD for 6,000 RSD.

The room had plenty of space for our family and all the facilities we needed. The owner was especially kind and helpful, and arranged parking close to the apartment. That helpful attitude from the host really stood out.
